Because I lost this hardback book that I KNOW I had just three days ago, and I wanted to send to my friend today. I have looked almost everywhere, three times! I'm about ready to believe the fairies have taken it, although what they'd want with "Confessions of an Ugly Stepsister," I have no idea. Help, please?

Any other ideas are much appreciated. I distinctly remember putting it on a shelf, but can't remember which of the several dozen shelves it was. I think I've looked everywhere -- three or four times! But obviously, not where it actually is )-:. Unless the fairies took it. The book talks about faires and changelings. If I find a copy of the Old Farmers' Almanac that I never bought, I'll know what happened to it (-:.

check your wooden drawers....something to do with wood, light wood or dark am not sure of the colour, check behind the book case btw the wall and the book case somewhere
