No!! It's the worst film that Terry Gilliam has ever done - I love his previous stuff but he is really making some nonsense recently. I like some of the effects with the horse taking the kids into the bellies but most of it looked rubbish. And the plot was silly too - and what was the point of Matt Damon and Heath Ledger actually playing the brothers Grimm - the film could have featured anybody really - the characters weren't very well written. But I thought Damon was quite funny in some parts. And Monica Bellucci was wasted in her part.
If you want to watch good films by Terry Gilliam try these:-
Anything with Monty Python (Life of Brian, The Holy Grail etc)
Time Bandits
Brazil
Twelve Monkeys
The Fisher King

i liked the film plus i loved the subtex relationship between the two brothers.

Personally, I thought it sucked. It was a muddled mix of a bunch of different legends and tales. I wish I had that portion of my life back that I wasted on watching that movie.

saw it a while ago. Didn't mind it, its a little bit different to heath ledger and matt damons usual movies but was a pretty good movie.
