you just asked a question... and so you got several answers from other Yahooers... so Answerer 11 (the one above me), though providing a 'very good' answer... ironically... that is not an answer to your question... because that in itself IS an 'answer' to your question if you really think about it...

But this is what I came up with....

"The questions that have no answers are the ones that are left unasked. If they are never asked, you will never get answers!" LOL

good ponderous question that you asked... by the way... =)

The answer could very well be "what is the question that has no answer?" Also could be, if a man is going twenty miles an hour for two hours, then goes fifty miles an hour for three hours, stops and takes a nap, then starts up again, how long did he sleep for? Or maybe which came first, the chicken or the egg? If a man has two brothers, what is the name of his third sister? Many many questions have no answer. Or at least, don't have an answer anybody can come up with based on the information given. And technically, if it doesn't have an answer, can it still be called a question?

does god really exists?
are we alone in this universe?

example;
What is the largest integer?

There is no possibile anwser because 1 can always be added to make a larger integer.

We need significant knowledge about something to even know that there is no possible answer. Otherwise, the question just has no known answer, or we don't know whether it has a possible answer or not.

Are you sure he is asking a question, or is he actually making a statement?
i.e. "What?" is the question that has no answer.
