Very good question your highness.

My opinion....... is that the King should be the Head. It would be our leader that I would turn to in times of trouble. Searching for the solution...... praying for the perfect answer.

So how would my king come up with such a solution? Yes.... he must have the intelligence to reason through a situation logically. He must have the wisedom to have learned from the past in order to correct the future. He must have the calm patience to see how over reaction could result in pain for many.

How does he reach such conclusions? Simple....... he has a heart. He can not rule with his Head if he does not have a Heart. His heart gives him the ability to feel...... to care...... to need...... to desire. This is what gives him the motivation and drive to want to be there for his people because of the need they have for him. To be loved makes one want to give love.

So must he be a Strong Arm? It's not a position you plan on putting yourself in. My king would only strong arm someone when he knew that what they were doing was putting another one of his subjects in jeopardy. He is a king that rules with his head ........ his head guided by his heart. With his head and heart telling him that this subject has caused pain and frustration, our king would do all in his power to stop him. Strong Arm? Or Protector? It would depend on your definition. But in my eyes.......... he is fighting for justice.

The three circles of Heart, Head, and Arm intersect. It is impossible to have one without the others. If we ever find ourselves being ruled by one without the others........ it is time to find a new Kingdom.

A King should be the Heart and the Head of the people and should also be the 'Strong Arm' (as in defender) of the people. A lot of kings, however, ended up 'strong arming' the people and using the wealth of a country and its people for their own gain.
The Romanovs fell because of their lack of understanding of the Russian people- they were disconnected from them and people felt like cattle.
Solomon prayed for an understanding heart to know how to discern between good and bad (with the intent of helping the people).
In Tolkein's 'Lord of the Rings', Aragorn served the people- before and after he became king. This is a fictional work, of course, but I think Tolkein portrayed Aragorn as the archetypal king- one who is a servant of his people.
There are many other examples in history and literature but these come immediately to mind.

In many ancient civilization, a king is the Heart, the Head, and the Strong Arm of the people. Kings are also sometimes regarded as God (Egypt for example) , or at least, a representative. They held enormous power.

hope I helped:)

technically i think he's supose to be the heart, but normally power corupts, destroys, makes people nuts (which ever way you want to go) and after a while they become the head, sometimes arm to,

because at first they're going to help people, try and make it better (not really, but they should have) and then they decide, hey, i like this power stuff, give me more...

for them, power was like a drug, they kept wanting more and more no matter the expensise....

but this is along time ago, now like the royal family in england, they dont have much power (because of ahole different thing, im not getting into at the moment) so they really cant do much harm.....

but along time ago, then King/Queen, was everything, they needed him for land, jobs sometimes, and etc. and they let it all go to they're head,

right before the people cut it off, (some cultures they just cut the kings head off if the people started not to like him, kind of intresting stories actuallt!)

The Purusha Sukta of Rig Veda says that priests are born
from the head of divinity, kings from hands, farmers and
traders from thighs, and common workers from feet.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Purusha_sukta

One interpretation of this is that the aura will be strong
around head for priests and intellectuals, around hands
for kings, around thighs for farmers and traders, and
around feet for common workers. The present day
equipment used in para-psychology is not advanced
enough to verify this finding of the Vedas.

No. i did not even examine it this time. that's a rant, no longer a question, stated by you replica/pasting 1/2 the f*cking bible. i'm significantly tempted to report you, and it will be person-friendly because it is a blatant violation of the TOS. this isn't your own communicate board to proselytize or air your psychological insanity. both take this nonsense on your church, or ideally to a therapist, yet supply up cluttering up the board with this drivel. Ask a real question, or come across a unique website.

Being Hindu, there's something about this I think I know. I'm pretty sure some guru had this same question. The answer is the hand (more or less the 'strong arm' you speak of). I'm pretty sure it's in the Vedas...
