When you are told that something might happen?

for example...say a Doctor tells you...This is ot good. you need to change immediately. what is your response???

I guess...do you listen, or question?

I question..I listen too...but I know they are not in charge or have all the asnwers

I got a feeling I will hear that sooner than later so I listen and question the past .Did i do it to myself or did some one do it to me .Either way I probobly am going to loose some sleep over it .I guess I'm ready for the bad news .At least Im changing little by little day to day in preporation for the day when it comes .

Well, after putting the flag up the pole, I would assault him with a barrage of Questions. Followed by a in-depth research project via the Internet. Then, a Second and Third opinion would be solicited. Then, I might consider his suggestion.

I question too. But I also listen. Typically, I would get additional opinions and research the topic.

if you have no intention of listening to someone you're paying to give you an opinion then you shouldn't bother wasting your money.
