Playboy has and I think always will be a Classy magazine. It's nudity yes, but it's not Hustler or Penthouse. Playboy takes a more artistic approach as where Hustler or Penthouse use their picture to purely exploit the fmale body.

Regardless, people still see it as pornography, and nothing will change that any time soon. Heck, people view FHM, Maxim, and Stuff magazines as pornography, even when the models are fully clothed.

Exploitation.

Basically I think it's objectifying (literally taking someone and making them an object for men to masturbate to.)

Maxxim, FHM, Sports Illustrated are in the same vein.

That's not to say they don't have their place - fantasy is an important part of societal human sexuality - but don't pretend that it isn't objectifying.

Antiquated. The whole Playboy thing is so 50's-60's. It was daring then. Now it's just old and sad, like Hefner himself.

I hear that Grand-Papa Hugh is about to tie the knot with another 27-year-old, or has it happened already? Whatever keeps the old boy kickin'. I like it because of the hot-wings!

Neither. The women volunteer, so there is no exploitation. But, it is still pornography so you can't really call it classy. It does, however, have its niche, and it's all right with me.

Playboy's probably the classiest, with big-name writers, important interviews and sports writing. The pictures aren't nearly as gross as some.

Playboy turned utterly boring when Heffners daughter took over. Trying to be all things, it turned out to be nothing.
