Mine, mine, mine, I was very much impressed by the Golden State Warriors basket ball game against the Phoenix Suns this past Thursday, but due to inconsistency in their games, Does any body think that they can pull some surprises when the clutch time ( Play Off ) arrives. It will be interesting to guess.

When you see an amazing performance from a team, like what we saw the Warriors do to the Suns the other night, its very easy to start believing that this team is just unstoppable. However, you need to also take a look at the game last week where they got completely shut down by the Spurs.

The truth is, teams that play fundamentally sound defense limit the Warriors fast break opportunities, and force them into half-court sets and a reliance on deep shots. Yes, sometimes, those deep shots are falling at a 50 to 60% clip, and the Warriors can still win. But this is not the norm. For a more accurate evaluation of the norm, you need only look at the FG% of the players who take the most shots. In Golden State, this percentage isn't very good.

If they make the playoffs, which in my eyes is doubtful, they could steal a game or two from a Dallas, or a Phoenix, because there will be at least one or two games where their main scorers have hot outings, like what we saw from J-Rich against the Suns. But, over the course of a playoff series, this is very unlikley to happen often enough to beat any serious contender.

I don't think so. Lots of young players and new faces in Golden State... I think they'll need a little while longer before they start surprising people in the playoffs.

Experience is an old cliche, but you can pretty much bet on it in the playoffs, despite the flashy wins a young team might get in the regular season. Think of all the young teams that have ridden hot streaks into the playoffs over the last few years, only to get methodically dismantled by the same old guys from Detroit and San Antonio.

Biedrins, Ellis, Pietrus are getting better quickly. If they can mesh with the veterans over the next couple years, they'll become a solid playoff pick.

Since I am a Kings fan, I would hope not....Na just kidding
Great game against Phoenix though, but you have to remember, the Kings had just beat Phoenix days before and Sac doesn't have a very good team this year. Phoenix just like the lakers is streaky with their wins.

There is a lot of toss up's in the West. It's going to get interesting and Golden State has as good a chance as anybody.

I think they will get into the playoffs, hey the Clippers aren't tearing up the league either......The Warriors are playing inspired ball right now and have everyone healthy to make a good run to end the season.....I would like to see them take Dallas to 6 or 7 games and if they draft well for next season theirs no reason they couldn't be a 5 or 6 seed next year.

I think they can do it for a game or two, but then they fall back into their losing ways again. I'll be happy if they make the playoffs. I don't expect/hope for anything more than that.
