It's normal for both men's and women's nipples to get erect ("hard") in response to cold or to stimulation — either sexual or nonsexual (like rubbing up against fabric).

Not true. Don't yours get hard when you get the chills or when your cold? Feel them and you'll know for your self do you feel aroused? . And when Women breast feed their baby I don't think their feeling aroused in any way please. That has nothing to do with sexuality.

Is it anatomy question ????
Or has it something to do with sexual response.
you can get detail in wikipedia.
Let me tell you, the nipples can get hard in men also, and in both the sexes, they may get harder without getting sexually aroused. Just pinch it ...............

I suspect for the SAME reason that a certain part of a GUYS anatomy gets "hard" when they're aroused... (Happily, we don't also have that "problem" when it gets cold...). :)
