The original studio version that's the one you hear on the radio all the time has their original lead singer Bon Scott doing all the lead vocals, including the part you're asking about. Of course, he died in 1978 and the next year this song came out finally. It had been rejected as not finished when first recorded in mid-70s, then became a big hit. Now, of course Brian & the boys do the vocals on it in concert.
