Even if there WERE- who's gonna believe it??! You can go to ANY childrens playground on the PLANET & hear the EXACT same argument; "You DID! "I DIDN'T! "You did TOO! "I did NOT..." -And ON, and On, and... -you get the idea. The Brits & Iranian "children", need to take a step back, take a deep breath... and find a civil way to settle their dispute (Oh, -& that big "Kid", in the red-white-blue shirt & silver stars on his pants pockets; HE should mind his own business & keep out of it. He's already caused ENOUGH trouble on the Playground- as it is...).

The Iranian's are crazy and the British Navy could have been in American waters and they would have done the same thing. They just need something to start a fight about. If those people are not fighting with each other they are fighting with the rest of the world. As an American, I am on the side of the British people and I think that America should always defend our friends. If they don't release the people that they have over there I think that the British and the American people should turn their land into glass. If you know what I mean. I am so sick of the trouble these people cause!!!!

Despite the fact that the British were acting under UN guidelines, Iraqi witnesses testify they were where they should be, and that Global Positioning Satellite (GPS) records show they were in Iraqi space; the conspiracy theorists will just say that "Big Government" forged the data or got to the witnesses. So for some people there will never be any way to provide enough proof that the British were not in Iranian waters.

I believe the Iraqi witness who saw them in Iraqi waters (that area has been in dispute between Iran and Iraq for years, anyhow), and I believe that the satellite and GPS data is accurate. Iran has a history of enjoying the kidnapping, torture, taunt and blackmail routine.

They know that they can get away with anything now that Thatcher, Churchill, Disraeli, Reagan and Teddy Roosevelt are gone.

Once Bush is out and a Dem is president, the US will see plenty of this kidnapping stuff, too. Carter will be asked for his advice, of course.

It's only a matter of time until the Iranians are through dealing. They bit off more than they can chew this time.
