When are people going to stop saying "back in the day"?

I'm so sick of hearing this stupid phrase I could scream.

Probably about the same time they stop saying "at the end of the day" an overused phrase in my opinion.

Well...back in the days when everything was black and white (TV) the old folks used to say...."back in MY day...." Lighten up...you will be doing the same thing in a couple of years. The world moves too fast for all of us.

you could suggest to them to use other phrases but before you do that you should think of any alternatives.
