In living memory, "I wouldn't go out with you until you fix your face!" For the record, I had no desire to go out with this guy before or after, he'd already gone out with most of my friends and treated them like crap! I was born with a cleft lip and palate, so I have a scar from my top lip to my right nostril, and my nose is an unusual shape.

It's not so much mean as that it hurt my feelings. I try to be nice and tell my Mother-in-law things that we buy people for xmas so that we don't end up buying the same things. Well, we exchange gifts at her house 1st and every year she ends up buying the same thing that I told her I had bought! It makes me soo mad! I sware sometimes she does it on purpose! I mean it's year after year. My husband said to me that "It's my own fault for telling her then!" That made me feel so bad! Instead of sticking up for me and telling her about it he blames it on me. :(
