I am from Bangladesh and I am flattered to get such questions asked. If you are not a Bangladeshi then I am doubly flattered.
It is one thing to have a good feeling once or twice a while for success in any discipline, but it is different thing that whether these successes are near constant or at least could be repeated.
Giant is a huge term and one should be careful in its use, otherwise such comments would become cheap and we would unnecessarily drag down our cricket team with false expectations and hopes.
See, what happened with Australia. We lost the Toss that is matter of fate and the batting first against Australia is also something uphill task to get enough runs for winning the match. But what our players did against Australia? Did they play consistently? So, what we are seeing now is a few successes here and there but no consistency.
It is better that we have now training schools for the newly recruits at Savar, Dhaka. But the results from such rigorous training would not come overnight.
The other important lacking our players are having is in their Stamina and also the build of their body. These are inherent deficiencies and with such drawbacks we may qualify to play in WC at the best but dare not dream wildly to become next cricket giant in South Asia!
Now my own Wishful Thinking: I also would like to see Bangladeshi players improving to next notch of their ladder to success, if not climbing on the top rung!
Best of Luck to Tigers!!

Well yes, because India, Pakistan and even Sri Lanka are all world class, Bangladesh will be next. Because there isn't really any other cricket nations in South Asia.

FLASH NEWS............
Jamaican TV from informed sources have confirmed that three Bangladeshi players have tested positive in the dopping test conducted by ICC. The report will be made published by ICC very soon. As per world cup rules, if a player is tested positive on dopping test, the entire team will be banned. So Bangladesh team is certainly to be banned from the world Cup and since India is the next team in the group, will be qualified to plat the Super 8. Yes , they will do it if they can keep their flow of improvement. hope their half centuries will be raised to centuries within three years & we will get them at next WC finals. They must work hard , improve fielding and should be given good coaching. Best of luck.

Absolutely no chance. By one or two good performance, no team can be judged.
