When money is not a concern, a mac seems to be the way to go over a PC. Macs are more expensive than PCs, but in many ways, you do pay for what you get. Take a small PC laptop for example, it will cost less than a Mac, but it will also come with less. Core 2 Duo processors are standard on Mac laptops, where as they are not on many bargain PC laptops (these often come with underpowered celeron processors, or more powerful Core Solo/Duo processors).
Compatibility with a Mac should not be of great concern. Yes, many things are not designed for the Mac operating system. However, all Intel Macs have the ability to run Windows as well, either through Paralles or Bootcamp. The Operating system that mac provides is polished and is simple and easy to use. In many aspects, the visual quality is just as good, if not better than that in Windows Vista. Hope this helps...

Apple makes a good product, but you really pay for it. Macs are expensive, are less customizable, and have less software available.
PCs can be very affordable, and you can build your own or buy them in hundreds of varieties (different manufacturers, appearances, hardware, etc.).
I really don't see why people by macs at all, other than to be different. There may have been a time when they offered a superior product, but that time is gone. Today's PCs can deliver the same perfomance of a Mac for $500 less.
Macs do have one software advantage, in that the Mac OS tends to be more stable than Windows. But this benefit is negated, IMO, by the lack of compatibility with a lot of the other software people use.

PC is better, because everyone uses PC there is more software, and add-ons, and lots else that is compatible with PC but not mac. I have to say Mac makes a more quality product but its too expensive. PC is the best choice for the average computer user, and i would highly recommended it!

Mac, other than the fact they are more expensive, they are the best. You have less chance of being hacked or infected with a virus. The software runs the way it's designed and they are more comfortable to use.

It depends on your requirements. For example, You have to consider the compatibility of the software that you will be using.
Also consider the availability of the hardware, if you are planning to upgrade it sooner.
