My husband of 6 years has been away for a week on a business trip. Tonight he called me and promised to call me back before he goes to sleep. He never called me, so I kept calling his cell phone. I called 3 times, but on the 4th time I called, it went straight to the voice mail (he shut off his cell phone). He did this once before during the week he has been away.
We have small children so I can not afford to be playing around like this. PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!!!!

crazy is when you show up at his hotel/motel with girlfriends looking for someone besides him. and your at the door and one is going to wait just in case someone slips out.. and the other one is down at the car watching for cops...

Maybe, you could give him the benefit of the doubt, maybe he was in the middle of a business dinner/drinks when you called. Has he given you any explaination as to why he never took your calls? Some women (or men) can become very insecure while their partners are away for business. Is there maybe another reason behind your insecurity? I think you should consider talking to him (rationally) before you jump to too many conclusions. Maybe you should get a mediator (counselor) involved to help you both through this issue. Good Luck.

ok--it has been my experience (and I have been cheated on) that if you are suspicious-then there is something to be suspicious about. Sorry--I know you do not want to hear this. accept that it may be fact and decide if it is something you can live with or not. Believe it or not, many women look the other way when they find their spouse cheating. It may just be a one nighter anyway. But if you cannot live with it, make your preparations to leave. Plan what you will do--so when you feel you have to go-you have somewhere to go!

No way to really tell, maybe he just needs some him time and is hanging at a bar or something and doesn't want to bothered. When I go out with my friends my wife calls once to say she loves me and tells me to have fun when I can because business trips can be boring and if you get an opprtunity to do something while your gone you don't want to spend it talking on the phone. I love my wife but we have to have space and "trust", key word their is trust.

It could be, or he may have been busy doing something else. Just because he turned off his cell phone when he said he's call doesn't necessarily mean he's cheating.

Do not jump to conclusions at once. Maybe he is just busy or something.. you can ask him later on when you are able to talk to him already. Tell him how you feel, but don't act so worried, just go straight to the point, ask him why he didn't get back to you, and why he wasn't able to attend to his cp. Play it by ear and be very observant but don't assume things especially when you don't have enough proof. Good Luck.

maybe he fell asleep. or his phone died. or he's out where he doesn't get much signal. straight up ask him what happened without being accusatory. there may be a simple explination as to why he didn't call back. pay attention to how he acts after he gets back from his business trip too

Is he staying at a hotel? If so don't you have the number to the hotel and his room number. Call the front desk and have them ring his room. Where ever he is staying there would almost have to be a regular phone that you can call.

relax---He'll be out for just a week right? when he's back be honest to him without letting him know that you are about to freak out---Guys like it when their girls are firm.. do not waste your time sulking... ask him honestly and be open to him about your feelings... of course he will not tell you that he cheated nor if he is cheating... yet you will know by the way he answers if he's being honest to you or not... sensing the dishonesty. Then thats the time that you will check on your guy...

I really feel bad for you. He had to have seen your calls on this phone. I would say cheating Sorry. He totally blew you off. Also you all ready know! You just want us to confirm your suspicions.

i dont think its anything big, i mean if he was cheating, dont u think he would cover it up but talking to u and stuff ...lol. so he was probably like really tired from work and just forgot to call u. and when he turned off his phone just wasnt really thinking cuz maybe he was tired.. or maybe the phone ran out of battery....
