Actually, from a Constitutional point of view, this might be more impeachable than the war with Iraq. After all, the Senate voted to allow the Iraq war (even though Democrats deny it). The Consitution identifies only a very few requirements for the President ... protecting the country is one of them. If someone could make a case that the illegals were endangering the nation, all you need is 50% +1 members of the House of Representatives to vote for impeachment ... Clinton was impeached, remember. But, removal from office requires that (1) you be impeached by the House, and (2) two-thirds of the Senate uphold the impeachment vote.
