OK, your situation right now kinda sucks, I will grant you that.
I can see where it would be depressing. Maybe your teachers hate you, maybe they are just very frustrated because they see a lot of potential in you, and it is not being used. The truth may surprise you, cuz it did me.
I was in a similar situation. I did not care. In junior high one day it dawned on me after a teacher got on my case about my math grade. I did not like my life. I did not want to live like this. I wanted to grow up and have a normal life. I wanted a nice wife, nice kids, my own house, a decent car...I wanted a normal life. And I figured out the only way to get these things and get out from where I was is to know more than the next person. I went from practically flunking, like you, to valedictorian of my 8th grade class. I am an adult now, making nice money, with a nice life. It can be yours too. Get to work and good luck.

Hi,
Im really sorry you are suffering so much. I think you should ask for help as some of the others have suggested. Perhaps there is someone you could confide in? Or could you go to the Dr yourself? A teacher might be able to help you straighten things out in school. I am an ex teacher and i kbnow a lot of teachers would be happy to talk to you after school perhaps? You need to know someone is on your side.
You are good at art! that is great1 i trained also as an art teacher. you have atalent. the more you do the better you will get. It is also a great hobby to escape real life in! Whether its drawing or painting keep at it. If you draw carry a note book round and sketch all the time. Practice different things. maybe one day you can go to art college too! There are so many jobs you can get later from it! Architecture, fashion designer, furniature designer, book illustrator, photographer, you might do sculpture, pottery, weaving....there are no end of possibilities! there are even designers making sets of things for TV, or work in magazines! art comes inot so many aspects of life and its a very exciting thing to be involved in.
you do not need to be acedemic you know. Im a great believer in education being about finding out what you are good at and you are good at art!
So try things out if you can, mix pencils with pane in one picture, do collages, You can used ripped magazines, or newspaper to get creative!
The depression thing though, you do need someone. Maybe there are some helplines you ccould call? Im in england so what i would say for here is not the same for the USA. here we have childline, they are great. I think if you shared your problems you would immediately start to feel lighter and therefore better.
Feel free to mail me if you want.
I wish you loads of luck! Im sure life will get better for you.

You're depressed as expected in your situation. Many people have gone through depression. Ever heard the phrase "There are a million stories in the naked city"? That means that once uncovered, their stories will be known. Everyone has one. It's called life. Now, I won't bore you with my story, but I will say this; You are ultimately responsible for your own feelings and outcomes. It's up to you to decide how you are going to deal with each scenario. You can be anything you want if you try hard enough and don't sit around blaming the world for your woes. I know that isn't what you're doing now, but you know what I mean. Your next move might be to see a counselor at school or someone you can trust and talk with. I wish you great luck.

I think that you should try to open up to your teachers. Teachers are teachers for a reason. I know that talking to someone face to face is not as easy as doing it here because of the fear of rejection. You say they all hate you but you may be surprised to see that not all of them do. I wasnt very good at school either I did what I had to to graduate. If drawing is what you love and what your good at there is a future in that. Your good at something feel proud of that. You say the only thing you can do is draw like its a bad thing the only thing I can do is draw stick figures lol and I am not even good at that. I would love to have a talent like yours. Put your heart into your art. Theres got to be someone you can talk to. I know that you said you arent looking for sympathy or anything but I just wanted to say hang in there keep your head up and [BIG HUGS]. Everyone can use a good hug even if you think your to old for them.

When a young person is depressed because of his or her circumstances it's very concerning to Adults working with you. I would talk to your foster mom or dad and tell them how your feeling. Tell them that you want help because you know you can do better but you are depressed and need to talk to a therapist. There is no shame in it. My foster mom was great when I was 15, I too felt like that and often was moody, aggitated and often times lashed out. Puberty can even cause some of this. It's important to talk and keep talking about it, the less you bottle up inside the more likely you will get help and feel better. Please never act on impulse. I will pray that God can give you courage, and wisdom to know that your not alone he is with you.

So if you don't want sympathy then how are we going to help you? Yes I listened and I'm fina give you some sympathy too. Well what I think you should do is to just simply tell your teachers you need help and if they refuse just go to your school counselor he or she will be able to help you to the best of their abilty. You just have to ask honey then hopfully you'll be ok for this part of like.
