As long as there are Elvis' fans there will be a birthday celebration. I live in Vegas and Elvis fans and memorabilia are omnipresent so I believe this will last a while..

As long as there's fans of The King Of Rock N Roll, they'll always remember his birthday. They won't necessarily concentrate on how old he would be, but just the birthday itself.

When they are informed that Elvis Costello really reigns.....poor misguided people, but hey it is good for their economy but i don't give a rats a*ss about Presley. His b'day i believe would have been still alive that is jan 8th......

I don't think they ever will. There are some past icons that the public simply refuse to let go. It is all so boring.
