Dear Cork;
WTF are you talking about?

Dear priority;
It really depends on his idea of better. I like when a politician talks about hope. However hope is a promise of a dream. It is not actual policy.

#1, because he/she is probably a good leader and the gov't should stay out of people's lives. If government takes from those who produce and gives to those who don't, what reason is there to produce in the first place?

Probably #2, you are assuming he would what, raise taxes? Maybe he would stop Corp. welfare, enforce our immigration, stop sending billions overseas to countries that don't so much as say thank you, & maybe get our trade deficit under control. All these things together could save the U.S. Hundreds of billions or even upwards of a trillion dollars a year. If he then wants to spend that money on reducing the debt, or maybe spend 10-15 billion on some program he thinks will benefit the people I'm all for it. But there is no way to tell with the info. avaliable. I would probably go with # 2 anyway, maybe someone who knows what it's like to stretch thier paycheck to make ends meet would be better than what weve had in Washington.

Nice way to force people to pick one over the other.

How about this: A guy who got a good education, worked his butt off, went into politics, and talks about making this country better and talks about hope. Would you vote for him?
