Why should he apologize anyway? The CONGRESS is tasked with operating and maintaining military and veterans hospitals.
Congress should be apologizing to our veterans for the treatment and facility conditions. Specifically Pelosi, since she is the "Leader". I would bet that the rot and decay that is eating at the buildings, and the lack of modern, up to date equipment, can be traced back to the Clinton administration. They, after all, cut military budgets to the bone, and the type of damage to Walter Reed hospital, ie: decayed plaster, bad wiring etc, doesn't happen overnight. It is caused by years of neglect. Stop blaming Bush. He probably waited, expecting Congress to issue an apology.

Because they had to clean it and make it look halfway descent before he came. Now what about all the other Vet hospitals
