Question for Conservatives?

Question

If your spouse or child suffered a life threatening illness or injury at your home and immediate medical attention was needed to save their life, would you let a Liberal Paramedic treat them or would you allow them to pass because of your feelings towards Liberals?

Awww...I'm both a liberal and a paramedic..the real question is "would a liberal paramedic treat a conservative?".

Just kidding...I treat everyone the same irregardless of political views, and nearly every paramedic out there would do the same.

It's very rare that I would even let a patient know my political views anyways...usually, I've got more important things to do, like assess and treat the patient.

I'm both a liberal and a paramedic, and this has to be one of the most ridiculous questions I've seen. The terms liberal and conservative only describe a persons general tendencies on political issues. What could that possibly have to do with your family's health?

If my child was suffering a life threatening illness, I'd never know what the paramedic was I wouldn't of stopped to ask and My politics are my own any way

You're not really very smart are you? If a paramedic showed up on an emergency call, how would anyone know the political views of this person? Liberals are the ones who are small minded and petty enough to do something so stupid to hurt themselves.

What a foolish question! How would I know that the paramedic is liberal? What, have you started wearing badges or something? Just because a person is misguided, as liberals tend to be, doesn't mean they aren't good at their work, so long as they aren't in a governing body. I wonder, would you let a conservative save YOUR life and still continue to hate him or her?

This is a ridiculous question.

I know many Democrats & liberals, they are in my family, my neighbors, my friends and co-workers and I do not hate any of them. I disagree avidly with them on many issues and on many issues we actually agree.

I think that most Americans want the same things for themselves, their families and their country.

I talk with many of my friends & family about politics and find that we really aren't that far apart on many things and in the end they often just don't understand issues very thoroughly because they don't take the time to research them. They simply read the local paper and watch the local news and think they are getting all the facts.

And, the answer to the question is........... I wouldn't ask a paramedic about politics, I simply would want them to help my loved one. I know a little about this since my sister passed away suddenly last November. I don't recall my brother-in-law asking the paramedic that just told him his wife was dead what his politically affiliation was.

Of course I would let a liberal paramedic treat them, not that I would know that. I enjoy liberals and have friends who are liberals; that's what makes American fun and interesting.

If someone thought of himself as a "Liberal Paramedic" and not just as a paramedic who happens to be liberal. I would have definite reservations.

Geeez, come on guy, were still Americans when it gets right down to it. My best friend is a liberal, I'm a conservative. We talk politics maybe twice a year, after the knock down drag out, its back to beers and off color jokes, that's the way it will always be.
