Yes Extremely. I'm gradually growing out of it. My mother said as a child I used to run and hide anytime someone came to the door. And if someone touched me I would cry, even before I could walk. She said she only has 3 pictures of me where I'm not crying (under 9 years of age). As I got older I still hid from people but not as much. I'm trying to overcome it I was diagnosed with Social phobia (technical term for shyness) passed on genetically.

No, I don't see the point in being shy, I wasn't put here to impress anyone. I'm here to be myself and do what I feel.
