Sort of. My mother bought me a 3-foot stuffed Kangaroo when I was a child, which is now sitting in the back her car. My mother is a preschool teacher, and takes the stuffed animal to school with her during the weeks that her students are learning about other animals and/or countries (i.e. Australia). Though I no longer play with the stuffed animal--uhh, mainly due to the fact that I am now a 26-year-old woman--it's always nice to see a little piece of the past from time to time.

When I was married my mom still had a bunch of my toys left over from my childhood. I used to have my teddy bear, but I think one of my boys has that now. They don't have any special meaning, all toys were handed down in my family.

my first toy, which was a miniature Charlotte Hornets basketball. I had complications when I was born and they kept me in the hospital for about 2 months, so when i got home i was pretty strong. They tried to get me to play with toys, but I always pushed them away. My pappaw had this charlotte hornets basketball from a game he went to of theirs and I always looked at it, pointed at it, and reached for it. So one day they put it up to me and I played with that thing for hours, patting it, trying to pick it up (which i wasnt strong enough to do, obviously) and everything else. I played with that thing until i was at least 6. It is in a display case in my room because it symbolizes my dedication and whenever I fell like laying there all day and not waking up it reminds me of how much I want to make varsity next year (which as a sophomore at our school is harder than hell to do)and all the blood sweat and tears i have put into since I first got the basketball, and it motivates me to go work hard every day and remember what my first love was...basketball

i know that sounds corny but it honestly came from the bottom of my heart

My teddy bear. It was given to my folks as a shower gift when my mother was pregnant with me. I've always had it. when I was in the military, I had it. When I was in Afghanistan and Iraq, I had it. I still have it. He's in a box in my closet but I still have him. He's a little old and ratty looking now but he's still my teddy.
