Bawitdaba is an original by Kid Rock. The song was written by R.J. Ritchie (Kid Rock), Matthew Shafer (Uncle Kracker) and Jason Krause (TBT's guitarist).

The "bawitaba de dang de dang" part was in.... believe it or not "Rapper's Delight" by the rap pioneers the Sugar Hill Gang.

It most certainly could be. Because apparently he can't write anything good by himself. I mean, what kind of a butt head will cover "Sad by true" by Metallica, and change it to "American bad-***"? He is SO FREAKING BAD!
I have no respect for this guy whatsoever. And also what's up with that stupid-*** song "Picture"? Is he freaking depressed or something that he cries all freaking day?

Kid wrote it with two other song collaborators with his band. It's original.

I heard it on Scrubs once and it wasn't Kid Rock singing it...
