dlink router prblems?

I brought my belkin router back b/c it caused my online games to lag. Was told to get a dlink. I got the dlink gold series. Well its worse. I am losing my connection almost every 5 to 20 seconds. What the heck is wrong this is pissing me off really bad. I pay more money and get worse results. Thanks for helping.

Whats a dlink gold series? I looked through the web site, but could find no reference to it.
