I tried shaving it all off for the first time and it felt great for about thirty minutes. Then it really started itching and bothering me and the next day I had a bunch of red dots everywhere. I even used some lotion to be safe. I was just wondering if it is a first time thing and doing it regularly will get my skin used to it without any problems. Thanks for the help.

Depends on the sensitivity of your skin. But why do you want to shave it? Men have hair there -- real men, anyway. Porn actors don't, but porn is fake. Having hair is a lot healthier for your skin.

I use an electric shaver every morning and that keeps my skin and hair in good shape. Every three weeks of so I use a razor, which makes the skin feel smoorther for 12 hours, and then a few days to get back to the desired effect with the shaver. Have been following this pattern for several years now and am married and it seems to work fine.

To answer your question, yes, the irritation will get less and less in time. Your skin has to get used to being shaved down there.

You should always either shave right before you shower, or shave in the shower itself with the hottest water you can stand with a good anti-bacterial soap. The razor bumps and other skin irritations are caused by the very top layer of skin being removed and opening the door in a warm, moist bacteria-infested area. Shave often and your skin will toughen up in a few weeks.
