Yeah, it's still used as currency. In fact I just got two new $2 bills today at the bank where I work. Well, they weren't "new" but they were in great condition for having been printed in 1993. Some stores don't take them though (monstly gas stations) b/c the owners don't know a thing about US currency.

Yes, they are real money BUT if they are not the new issue and say "Silver Certificate' on the top border, they are worth more, some a lot more, as collector's items. Check some coin and money sites. Memorabilia has collector value, too. Better check them out rather than spend valuable old money!

Yes. But for some reason you don't see them very often.
But I know a family that gives their kids lunch money, etc., all in 2 dollar bills. I'm not sure why though, but they always have 2 dollar bills.

Well, they are not so common any more. Stores and stuff will take the bills, and you can ask for them from banks, they just aren't as common! My personal thing I do is never spend $2 bill when I have one, just in case they disappear! :)
But yes, you can use them!
You are so awesome, incredibly! Keep on truckin'!

You can use it, but the stores won't be giving out $2 bills as change.

They do still produce them, though no where near the volume that produce other bills. You can use them to buy things, they're valid currency.

It is still in circulation, and should be accepted anywhere you go, but not everyone knows about them, so you may get some strange looks.
