I can still remember the one with the weiner doing the tricks for the hot dog bun, I wonder who thought of that!

Oh yes they were fun! I miss drive ins...the commercials were funny I remember dancing popcorn and the one you mentioned. And then the drink ones about how good a cold drink would be and theres a big cup and straw!!! LOL!!!
We always did buy the popcorn and candy...but really we brought our own stuff in! Oh you bring back fun memories..use to love to go when they would show those real bad horror flicks! Like 3 movies for 2 bucks!

No drive-in theatre in the town I grew up in.
But we had an open-aired theatre.
It was the coolest place to go on a Friday night.
Low slung-back canvas chairs, peppercorn trees edging the entire theatre.
And the thing I remember most (in addition to the Elvis movies and getting caught with a cigarette) was the snack bar.
It was a counter top enclosed with a box-style cover made from chicken wire! Lollies were my snack of choice.
I also remember that we had cartoons before the feature - just when did they stop that?
These are the things I remember.

That's been a long time ago, Do they even have drive-in movies anymore? People today don't know what they're missing. Loved the popcorn, coke, & sno caps.
