The (Dish) tech told me if there is a thunderhead in the line of signal acquisition, the signal will be lost. The cloud will usually pass in a few minutes. If there are high winds and a heavy downpour, it might last a little longer. I believe the ppv shows are shown back to back, though.

Yes, if the normal channels would be effected. I do believe that if the PPV is running continously, you can watch it later that day without paying again.
