What is a fair price for labor and material for installation of new ignition wires and spark plugs for my van?

For OE plugs, quality installation, $225 would be a good ball park. Make sure that the spark plugs are motorcraft from Ford. They probably cost around $10-$13 each; they're platinum. I strongly recommend avoiding autolites or bosch platinums.

Probably about 3 to 4 hours labor plus parts.

2.5 to 4 hours? A one armed monkey could do that job in less than an hour? You just take the engine cover off in the cab and do the whole job from the inside.

Do it yourself. Trust me it is really easy and sometimes a little fun. All you need is a spark plug socket.
