We are all complex beings, and one word doesn't really do justice to all aspects of us...now, with all that said.

When you describe your sexual orientation what do you call yourself.
Gay
F*G
Dyke
Homo
Bi
Queer?

For years I labeled myself as bi, I now use queer because it more aptly describes not only my sexual oreintation, but my sensuality, artistry, and life.

What did you choose, did it change?
Why?

I probably wouldn't call myself any of those words because I don't think every person should have a label. A straight person wouldn't have to call themselves straight like a gay person would have to call themselves gay. Maybe queer is a good word for you but I think people just use it too much in a negative manner. You should make up your own word or look through the dictionary for something that fits you.

a big ragin hetero! teehee...why the labels people? I thought queer was offensive (or how you felt after eating something dodgy). Is it still offensive or do you call yourself queer for the fun of it? I'm not being rude, I'm just curious!

I am gay when I have to pick one word. When I have a chance to explain I say that I am a man who among many other things (such as being an older brother, a student, a teach in training, a friend, a son, a mentor and other things) I am a man who happens to like men not just a gay man.

I am so many other things than just gay that are more important to me.

I am a Gay man, damned proud of it, and have no problems with the world. I do not wear a boa around my neck, I do not scream from the roof tops that I am Gay...I just am, it is part of me, and that is how it is. And by and large, I am percieved very well by just about everyone, gay or straight.
