Does anyone know the title of the story by Poe in which a prisoner makes a deal with a coffin maker? The coffin maker makes the prisoner a coffin with air holes in it that he is supposed to be buried in, then the coffin maker is supposed to dig him up later, and they will escape together. But, after he has been buried, he discovers that he was buried with the coffin maker. Does anyone know what it is called? Thanks!

I thought it might be the premature burial, but I skimmed it, and I didn't think it was it, but I probably didn't read it close enough to tell. Does anyone know of anything besides the Premature Burial it might be?

Absolutely, it is "Premature Burial".

An interesting side note here on Poe. While it was suspected that he died drunk in a gutter after living a life filled with drinking and drug abuse. However, recent suggestions have theorized that Poe probably was allergic to alcohol and therefore would never have drunk to excess and maybe not at all, and that he didn't die in a gutter in Baltimore but rather in a hospital under a doctor's care. Since his state at the time of his death was disorientation and an inability to swallow, the suggestion is that he died from rabies. And that's the way it is.
