Detective Rae Solomon is hot on the trail of Jigsaw, her and her team have just recently discovered on of John's most notorious crime scenes, the bathroom. New clues planted in the bathroom lead Solomon on an extremely violent game that will eventually lead to the ultimate truth behind the Jigsaw case. Meanwhile, Jeff begins another game. This time, his daughter's life is at stake, and Jeff must save her from the gruesome death that awaits her.
Saw IV picks up right after Jigsaw's death in Saw III. Jeff must find his daughter before her oxygen supply runs out. He must uncover the tapes left by Jigsaw to unlock the clues to her location. Along the way he discovers unimaginable secrets about Jigsaw's past. And to make matters worse a character from the first film returns with a much different outlook on life.

Saw IV is a horror film to be directed by Darren Lynn Bousman[1], who directed Saw II and Saw III, and is the fourth installment to the popular Saw series. It will be released in theatres on October 26, 2007[2]. James Wan and Leigh Whannell are returning as executive producers.[3]
According to a rumor site[10], the series creator/producer, Leigh Whannell, has once said that many unanswered questions from Saw III will be answered, such as the tape Jigsaw poured wax over, Obi's connection to Jigsaw, among other things

I sure hope so! They left this movie open ended like they had done the others so i think that they should for sure have another one

I just asked someone here and they said it's due this year in the fall. The last one was better than part 1 and 2.

Hmm this is a good question, I would have to guess no though since both Jigsaw and that lady died. Unless there will be like a copycat killer or something.
But I doubt it since they pretty much killed off everybody.

Yes, and they start filming in a couple of weeks. It should be out around Haloween this year.
(I'm not sure where people are getting Feb 2008.)

Most likely i guess.. since i thought it would end at saw 2 ... when i thought nickname "jigsaw" was already dead when that cop beat him up driving to that place
