The song is called 'Lonesome LA Cowboy.' I know you've never heard of it, it's from a band back in the 70's they were called the New Riders of the Purple Sage.
It says...."Ive been...smokin d___, snortin' c__, trying to write a song; forgettin' everything I know, til the next line comes along.'
