I agree with Nick..they give the south a bad name...I know for my family and alot of my friends the Rebel flag and being from the south is a heritage thing..it has nothing to do with hate(which is all the kkk stands for)..even many years ago the kkk gave the south and even churchs a bad name..a preacher could have killed a african american on saturday night and been preachin on sunday morning...I think people need to stop fooling around with all that mess and read their history book!

The knights of the KKK saved the south from Yankee occupation, the Yankees and uneducated just freed slaves controlled the State houses of the southern states,so the KKKK kicked them out, forcefully,They were hero's to the southern people who at the time, were an occupied nation, the C.S.A. for twenty years a white man couldn't talk with more then one other white man in the street are in his on home .the Yankees occupied the south and stole much from the southerns,Yes the original Knights if the Klu Klux Klan were hero's, then it got away from the original way of the KKKK and turned intoJust the KKK and they did many people wrong, the original founders of the kkkk left when the others did people wrong.they wanted the south to be controlled by white people, not blacks, and Yankees, that has changed now and all people have a say in politics, and have rights ,even those Yankees, who move south.the tradition of them having hoods was so that they wouldn't be arrested when they fought the Yankees,at the time the Yankee troops were all over the south, we where an occupied nation at the time the KKKK was formed,so of course they had to hide there faces when they attacked the Yankees and the blacks they put in as legislators,so they could steal and cheat and control the southern states governments,,and kicked them out of the state houses, and tried to make it so that whites had power again, do you blame them?they were fighting for there way of life for Gods sake,it was later on when the kkk turned bad,and killed ennocent people, but i say again the original Klan were saviours, what they have now, i dont know about.when is the last time you heard of a cross burning are a lynching? its been fifty years .this generation of kkk doesnt look like violnet people are you would hear about it.,they have a right to feel ,any way they wish to, so do black groups as long as they dont get violent, i know that during the civil war new yorkers murdered over 1000 blacks,10s of thousands of blacks were killed, just for being black in northern cities, .and that right now it is a FACT that theres five times more KKK members up north then in the south,so dont think southerners are the racists ,northerners are by far, and also out west ,especially California,I HATE THEM NOW FOR GIVING MY BELOVED BATTLE FLAG A BAD NAME.MY PEOPLE FOUGHT FOR THE CONFEDERACY AND DIDNT OWN SLAVES AND DIDNT THINK THAT WAS WHY THEY WERE FIGHTING OFF THE YANKEE INVADERS

I am a professed racist and I think they are absolute morons. I'm being nice about it. Albert Pike even said they were pretty much hopeless about a hundred years ago.

What is with the down thumbs? Can't handle the idea of someone being a racist and not liking the KKK? You people are hopeless.

They twist religion to believe what they do is right. Any person who does not respect life and is will to take it, especially in a cowardly way, regardless of what group they belong to is damned.

I don't like them.
They've given the rebel flag and southern pride a bad name, harmed many innocent blacks and made people think all whites are racist.

I wouldn't feel anything about them if they were people who just loved their race. Be proud, nothing wrong with that, but don't hate mine, in order to love yours.
