you can first calm down. then put the jeans into the washing machine then see if you have another pair of jeans to put on if that doesn't work then hide the jeans in your car or friends car and wait until the party is over to fix them.

Wash them, BUT DON'T PUT THEM IN THE DRYER UNTIL YOU ARE SURE THE INK IS GONE. If it doesn't come out with laundry detergent and prewash, take them to a dry cleaner... they get all kinds of stains out every day.

HEAT will SET the stain so that it becomes PERMANENT.

Hair spray works because it has a solvent (simply put, a chemical that tries to liquefy or dissolve solids) that evaporates fairly quickly. It can carry the stain, but that is what it does, CARRY it. Put WHITE paper towels or an old WHITE towel behind or under it to catch the dissolved ink. Be sure what you use doesn't have dyes or inks that could make the problem worse rather than better.

I saw where someone suggested dry cleaner's solvent. You probably can't buy it like that, but AEROSOL (non-pump spray cans) pre-wash is often the same thing. Lysol or other brand spray disinfectant (You want ones that are mostly alcohol or ethanol) may help, again, put the white rags or paper towels on the back side and spray through the jeans and into the towels so the motion will push any dissolved ink along.

==== TEST ANYTHING YOU USE, like these sprays on an INCONSPICUOUS spot to make sure they don't discolor the jeans.====

I have a book called "Grandmother's Kitchen Wisdom" that is loaded with tons of info. Here is what it says about ink stains:

For removal of ballpoint stains:
Place the stain face down on paper towerls and sponge the back of the stain with dry cleaning solvent. If there is some ink left, try rubbing the area with a moistenend bar soap, rinse and then launder. For any other type of ink stains, just try adn remove the stain with a dampened cloth and bar soap, rinkse and soak in Biz or an oxygen bleach using very hot water. If the stain won't come out, try using chlorine bleach, if the fabric is safe. Some permanent ink may never be removed.

For Ink Felt Tips: Rub the area with Fanstastic or Mr. Clean, rinse, and repeat if neccessary. May be impossible to remove.

There is also another page that says rubbing alcohol and hair spray may remove a number of ink pen stains.

Like what the other girl said the laundry. Most ink stains will come out. Or at least decrease in intensity. Put stain stick on it before you wash it.

Try turning the jeans inside out and use hairspray on them again. Hey and good luck, I'm keeping my fingers crossed for you. Oh and warm water, and soap works too.

More hairspray and then when it looks almost 100% better then wash it. Do not dry them until the stain is gone!

I have heard that dish washing soap was good for grease on clothes, so it may work on ink?

splatter with more ink- it'll look like they were meant to be that way- I couldn't believe it when I saw bleach stained jeans- that happens to me all the time by accident!
