I need to use the car regularly and hopefully keep the engine in good condition. Cheers folks!

Sure. Car won't care. Unleaded is there to protect the catilytic converters in cars that have that device.

Two points to consider. The octane rating of unleaded is lower, so some adjustment of timing is required regardless of additives used. The engine will have soft valve seats that relied on a coating of lead to protect them; regular use of leaded will have applied a generous coating of lead, which won't disappear over a few miles. If you intend to use it regularly you need to find a source of LRP or buy additives for each tank, which will be quite an extra cost.

to be sure i would go to vauxhall and ask them as this is an old car
if it carnt then sorry new head as the vaves will burn out in the old head
but you may get one fron scrap yard of a newer model
as long as the enine is the same then it will fit
the bock is no problem its just the head
