when I was little I'd have chicken noodle soup and a ginger ale if I was sick.
now I just have chicken noodle soup and sometimes water if I need a drink...

Yes, but where I live we call it pop. I love a tall glass of Mountain Dew (or ginger ale if I'm sick) with a bowl of homemade or Campbell's soup.
