sensitive than usual. When I rub my hands together it feels like I am wearing gloves. If I touch my face there is a weird combination of feeling like someone else is touching my face or that I am touching someone elses face. I can still feel things but my skin is much less sensitive than usual. This happens rarely, usually twice a year and lasts about an hour but it has happened 3 times in the last month and it is starting to freak me out. Any idea what it is?

That happens to me periodically. I went to the doctor and they couldn't find anything wrong. But I did notice that when it happens I've usually done something that has increased my heart rate ( It happened one time when I was watching a scary movie, and it happened once while I was cheerleading) and once it got back to normal it went away. A few times it happened just out of no where, but nothing is horribly wrong with me, that I know of, and go to the doctor just to see if maybe they can find out anything. Hope this helps. :]

I think that getting more circulation to your body would help stop this numbness. I feel this problem is coming from lack of circulation. I recommend you get a professional massage once a week until this problem stops.

I think it might have something to do with anxiety. Not sure though
