There are many well-documented cases of the Pentagon lying to the American people.
The Tillman incident is just one of many examples.

No, it is not okay. Oh, more lies from the Bush Administration/ cons. I'm beginning to feel like the lying is normal. This is old news, but it still isn't Okay
Obama '08 or any democrat.

i guess you are the only one who know the "real truth" about everything...right god...why do you presume they lie about all of our soldiers death...some they lie about to protect families and the national interests...what if a soldier has flash of fear and starts running from the enemy and is shot is the back by them...should the pentagon tell the family he died as a coward or tell them he fought bravely for his country...you know no difference between truth and lies because your world gray...not black and white...at least cons know when they are lying...i am sure about one thing you won't choose an answer based on fact or reason...but on one that coincides with your ideology...

Would you want to know that your son/husband//wife/daughter died in the bed of another woman/man, doing something illegal, doing something stupid? Or would you rather hear he/she died at the hands of the enemy or in training?
Did you know that personal effects are gone through and anything that the service person would not want his/her family to see is discarded (love letters from 'someone else', porn, etc, etc)?
