For me, I was 23 and I was standing in line at the grocery store and I looked in my cart, saw the bleach and carton of eggs and said, "Holy crap! I'm a grownup!!!"

I had a package of Skittles and a sling shot. In University I would fire them out the window at people and yell "Taste the Rainbow". But , suddenly I felt like it was inappropriate. Yuck, I'm a grownup now.

Yes I was 17 and doing my dad's paper work while he was driving truck across the east coast and and taking care of my brother and going to school and working my full time job and yes I still found time to party, can you imagine! The good old day's of being young and not needing much sleep! I grew up very young and learned alot and I can thank my dad for all of that now, god bless his soul!

Yes. I was 12 years old, my father had just passed away & my mother didn't seem to have the desire to raise the last of 4 kids. I was pretty much on my own but at least I had a home.

I joined thd US Army when I was 17. It didn't take long for me to know the difference between an adult and a teen. Or long to figure out which one to choose. You grow up fast in the Army.

I just got married and I went to the bank to cash a check and had to turn to my husband and say, "and how do we spell our name?" I felt silly but I did feel like and adult. Our last name was Clarke and I wasn't sure if we had the "e" on the end or not.

Wow, I have not seen "doozer" for a long time.

Miss that show, actually.

Mine was when I waiting in the church and my bride-to-be was walking down the isle toward me. I thought "run for your life!, you are about to get married, fool!!"
