1. We use a solar calendar, not a lunar (as the Jews and Muslims do currently) calendar.
2. 'Easter' is a questionable translation KJV), Passover would be better.

Same reason that Thanksgiving isn't.

It's always on a Sunday.

This year it is April 8th.

Actually it comes on the first Sunday AFTER the first full moon after the spring equinox. This year, that's April 8th.
