Yes, there are pills that your doctor can prescribe to make you start your period.
Some women, like myself, who have womanly problems (I have PCOS) do not get their periods regularly.
Once I went for 1.5 years without a period and my doctor had to prescribe pills to make me have my period. Going for so long without shedding your uterine lining is dangerous.
But, I would not attempt any home rememdies to start your period. You don't want to mess up your cycle unless it is absolutely necessary.
It is best to consult your doctor regarding this.

What do you mean "start a period"? Do you mean because you've missed a period? Do you mean because you're afraid you're pregnant? Do you mean because you have taken a pregnancy test that showed positive? Do you men to beigin having periods because you've never had one? You have to clarify what you mean.

Why do you need to start your period? It will happen naturally on its own..........unless you are pregnant.

Are you worried you are pregnant?

Please give more details!
