They do not want to go to the doctor so they try to get home remedies from the people on here no matter how wrong the info is. I was always told that there is no such thing as stupid questions, the only thing that is stupid is someone who will not ask the question.

He probably knows why he has the pain he probably means why him. Have you never questioned why me? I think he needed a little compassion. My guess he was in a lot of pain. I know this type of pain my son suffered pain far to long and to much because the VA Hospital didn't get their act together and give him the medical care he needed for his military injury. He couldn't even sit up to eat a meal or defecate on the stool. He went like that for months in sever back pain. He had to get his own MRI done some place else to prove to the VA they missed a bone fragment that was poking into his spinal cord and by this time it had done permanent damage. Our military personnel are treated so poorly if people really knew the whole story they would be shocked. It took the Iraq war to bring out the poor conditions at the VA Hospitals. But, it is not just the condition of the hospitals they should be concerned about. It is the denial of proper medical care to the injured vets I find most appalling. Now before you make fun of someone who says they are in pain think twice.

I understand. They should be sensible enough to understand that they should IMMEDIATELY go to the doctor. It's unreal some of the questions people ask.

Now, if you want somebody's opinion, that's a different story. For example the guy asks:

I can barely move and I'm NOT sure if I should go to the doctor. What do you think they'll do to me?

That's a different story all together.

Until the guy could see his doctor, he probably wanted to know if anyone else had this type of problem, maybe give him a rough idea of what the cause might be. Believe it or not, there are real doctors and nurses who answer questions on this site. The guy was probably hoping for a sympathetic ear and a bit of reassurance

Perhaps that person couldn't afford a doctor and was hoping someone might have a home remedy that could help. Also, the person asking may not realize the question is stupid.

And your answer was???? Don't you realize what you have here? The potential to build an army so you can take over the world.....if you tell them.
I am still seeing if I can get someone to run around in a mall buck naked...on a Friday...with purple hair.

Hey, only trying to help my fellow man.

They have probably asked a lot of people for help, including doctors sometimes, without results. There are so many people on Y!A, they hope someone might have a suggestion. I know what you mean, though ... I can't get over the ever-repeated question, "Am I pregnant?" Please! No more!

There is a quote, "There are no stupid questions, only stupid answers." Maybe you should have that outlook on questions. Yes, some questions may be out pretty out there, but they aren't stupid. They may just want a answer, not someone to call their question stupid. It may seem stupid to some people but to others it could save their life...you never know. You just never know.....

he prolly just wants to hear what someone thinks about it. Obviously theres a reason why hes not been to the doctor yet. Its true there are some questions that dont need asking but its their five points wasted if so.

Not everyone is a genius. Some folks need to be told to go see a doctor. Isn't that why we're here?
