Loads of cards that say exactly that. Also maybe a single rose with the card. Or brownies.

i have one best friend but i started to feel like we werent close anymore. but she did something special that made me feel so lucky. well she bought a card and wrote that i was a really good friend and all. she put that in my desk because thats the first place i look in the mornings. then i went to my locker and there was a small teddy bear matching the one on the card. it was cute and said best friend on it. then i opened my book and she had written me a poem and stuckit inside. it was so nice and said how much of a good friend i was. i know it seems complicated but its not just think of what your friend does in the mornings and the card and small stuffed animal are not expensive. i get to school lqater than my friend so it was easier for her but good luck.

A decent lunch out would be nice. Treat him/her to that. And if they ask the occassion, just say, "Thanks for being there."
