Yes, it can be recovered. However, the recovery of our liberties will be at a hefty price.

The Patriot Act is being used all the time for domestic, non-terrorist cases. Is this right people? They promised that the Unconstitutional provisions in the Patriot Act were alright because they were only going to be used against terrorists. Now, they're using it to spy on suspected pot dealers and such. This disturbs me. This disturbs me because it's going to get to where they'll illegally surveil anyone for anything.

It is very difficult to recover liberty which is given up because 1) Power seeks power.
2) Power will strive to consoldate and protect it's power.
3) (my favorite saying) In order to protect (or in your case recover) your First Amendment rights (or in your case Liberty), you must practice your Second Amendment right.

Good point. This country is filled with cowards who gladly throw their liberties to the wind as they have decided only Mr. Government can keep them safe from the bad man terrorists, they couldn't possibly risk their own lives to keep their community safe.

Not, without a bloody revolution. They (the Globalists) want us to give away our freedoms, and they have a very definite agenda to that effect. They are trying to sell the public on all the things they want to do, by painting a pretty picture of what they want us to believe these things are for. But, they keep their real motives hidden from us. They are not stupid, they know how to convince many people that the things they want to do, are good for us, when in truth they are only good for the Globalists themselves. *sm*

It can be, but the odds are very much against it. That is why we should never give up any of our liberties.

Let's just say it is very difficult to get liberty back once it's been taken away. It took 70 years for the Russians to get it back & they still don't have it all back.

When you give up your rights to the government in exchange for false security, all you've done is hand a victory to the enemies of freedom and democracy--while taking one giant **** on the legacy of our Founding Fathers.
