Similar means they are the same shape and the angles are congruent, or the same. Congruent polygons have the same angle measures and side measures.

Congruent polygons have exactly the same shape AND the same size. Think of exact clones. Similar polygons have the same shape but not necessarily the same size. Think of Me and Mini-Me.
FYI, congruent polygons are always similar, but similar polygons are sometimes congruent.

Congruent polygons have the same SHAPE and the same SIZE. Similar polygons have the same SHAPE but NOT the same size.
