Surface area is measured in square cm, not cubic cm.
Assuming you meant square cm, then:
6s^2=384
s^2 = 384/6 = 64
s = 8cm

the area of a cube is the area of a square times 6 or 6x^2

simply solve for x 384=6xsquared
64=xsquared
take the square root to solve for x and each sice is 8 cm
just work backwards

A= 2base + perimeter*height

since it is a cube, all the sides are equal

A = 2 s^2 + 4s * s

A = 2s^2 + 4s^2

A = 6s^2

384 = 6s^2
s^2 = 64
s = 8

hope this helps

surface area=2b+ph
p=4h
b=h^2
so 384=2h^2+4h*h
384=2h^2+4h^2
384=6h^2
384/6=6h^2/6
64=h^2
Sq rt 64= sq rt h^2
h=8
