put in a 40 hr work week. Do they desirve their enormious salary for all the lack of work they are doing? Yet they sure are good at adding pork , going after the attorney General for alledgedly lying, well a promise broken is a lie!

That would mean that they would actually have to do some constructive work for the people who elected them.

But you can always say one thing and do something else when you are behind closed doors and guaranteed a job for at least 6 years if you are a Senator, plus a full pension after you get out.

With the war in Iraq, record deficits and a mortgage foreclosure crisis of never before seen numbers I'm sure this issue is right at the top of most the average American's agenda right now.

I have had a 5 day work week for years. Maybe you need to change jobs. I deserve my salary.

I would love it if they were paid an hourly wage. I think it should be the national minimum wage maybe then poor people would actually get a decent wage and they would work their a**es off so they could pay their bills like the rest of us.
