I have a jacuzzi tub, that will not allow me to power the jets off. I have been troubleshooting from the button for the switch (on the tub).

The buttons (5) all work correctly, except for the jet power button. The buttons seem to send a signal when it is depressed, and when you let go of the button, no signal is sent. I am assuming this is correct, in that it sends a signal to a circuit board switch.

As I said, the switch will not turn the jets off, I have to turn power off at the breaker, and when I turn it back on the jets come back on.

The circuit board has 2 (What I think are) relays (pictured here)

I assume one is for the pump, and one is for the heater.

Does this sound like the problem is a bad relay (which is soldered into the circuit board?

If I am unable to get a new circuit board, can I put an air switch on the pump power line, with an air button in the tub to create a new switch?

I pulled the switch out of the tub area, it is an electronic switch. no air lines. It goes to a box underneath the tub, that has the circuit board in question. The circuit board has small signal wires from the switch, to the 2 (what I think are relays), and a terminal strip with larger guage A/C wires

the switch if its located in the spa area, is an air switch... check the lines and where its attached... it uses air to turn on or off the jets, lights, etc... http://spapartsnet.com/p_Air-Switches_ELASTBS301_382_0_7.html
